Our Two-Year-Olds

Our two-year-old program offers full day care from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a nurturing and play-rich environment where toddlers can grow in confidence and capability. With a 1:11 teacher-to-child ratio, we're able to support each child's rapid development - emotionally, socially and physically - while fostering strong relationships built on trust and consistency. At two, children begin to actively participate in daily routines - including toilet training. In this classroom, children routinely practice using the restroom with gentle, consistent guidance from our teacher, helping them build confidence and autonomy in this important milestone.

Encouraging Independence

Two-year-olds are naturally curious and eager to do things for themselves. We nurture this growing independence by inviting children to make choices, help with simple tasks and participate in classroom routines. Social development is a major focus, take turns and express their needs. Through supportive guidance and predictable structure, they begin to understand group expectations while still being celebrated as individuals.

Intentional Environments

Our classroom is designed for movement, discovery and hands-on learning. Children engage daily in sensory play, dramatic play, art-making, building and nature exploration - activities that build early language, fine and gross motor skills and problem solving activities. Teachers prepare developmentally appropriate provocations that invite exploration and creativity, using open-ended materials to support each child's unique interests. Through play, toddlers make sense of the world around them, supported by loving adults who scaffold their experiences with curiosity intention and care.
