Hello, and welcome! My name is Haleigh, and I am the owner of Honey Bee's Early Learning Center. I have been an Englewood local for 25 years! Before opening Honey Bee's ELC, I spent nearly 10 years working in various school settings with children of all ages. I hold a Child Care Director's Credential, as well as a CDA (child development associate) certification. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Isla, and my dog, Bailey, as well as baking and traveling.
Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am the Director and Lead VPK teacher here at Honey Bee's Early Learning Center. I have been working with children in our local community for 13 years! I started my journey working with two year olds, and have since gained experience with all age groups. I hold both a Directors Credential and a FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Credential). I believe working with children is my calling, and have wanted to be a teacher since childhood. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, shopping, and playing with my two dogs, Wrangler and Henley.
I'm Mandy McWilliams and my current professional role is lead 4 year old teacher at Honey Bee's Early Learning Center. My previous career experience includes leading a successful remedial reading program targeting Kindergarten through fourth grade students. I'm especially passionate about children's literacy. I have taught for the last decade in Englewood, FL. Prior to my long held education position, I led children's and adult programs for health, fitness, and aquatics. I'm a junior at University of Florida studying Education Sciences, specializing in Education Technology. My hobbies outside of education include boating, fishing, sailing, gardening, cooking, reading, the arts, and spending time with friends and family. I am a wife and mother to Maren and Charlie.
I’m Martha and I am the lead three year old teacher here at Honey Bee’s. Providing a safe and loving space for children is my purpose! I find the greatest joy helping them grow. In my classroom, I focus heavily on fostering independence, communication, creativity, and preparing my three year olds to be the best versions of themselves in my class and beyond it. I am a mother to two beautiful daughters, and in my free time I enjoy crafting, painting, reading, and hunting for shark teeth!
Hi! My name is Grace and I am the 1 year old teacher at Honey Bee's ELC. I was born here in Englewood, and I am currently a Junior at Lemon Bay High School. I plan to graduate in 2025 and attend Florida Atlantic University. My ultimate goal is to graduate Law School specializing in child and family law. I have been caring for children for the last three years. In my free time I enjoy golfing and reading! I really enjoy working with young children because of their loving and energetic personalities!
Hi! I'm Madi! I grew up in Englewood and have called it home for almost 30 years. Though I'm new to professional childcare, my expirience as a mother to my two wonderful daughters, Rosemary and Elsie, has given me valuable insights into nurturing and supporting young minds. In my free time, you'll find me reading, crafting, or having fun adventures with my kids.
